Please note, tours are subject to staff availability, so they need to be booked at least a week in advance - no walk-ins.
This is because our small number of staff are busy getting large wholesale orders processed & packed ready to freighting out each morning before opening the retail shop & prepping the kitchen ready for Café service. We try our best to work out a time for you!
Minimum of 2 people per tour, larger groups price on enquiry.
Taste the world’s freshest oysters on this unique farm experience where you will enjoy oysters directly from the wild, nutrient rich waters that lash the North West of Tasmania.
The tour takes a close up look at oysters and how they are farmed at Tasmanian’s biggest single oyster farm. (ON-SHORE ONLY, NOT OUT TO THE LEASES ON THE WATER)
$30 option:
Tour the onshore working oyster farm to gain insights into what it takes to produce some of the world’s most premium oysters. Learn from the shucking demonstration about how to open these gifts from the sea.
$60 option:
As above as well as the chance to have a crack at the shucking yourself & tasting. Enjoy the finer points of oyster appreciation with half a dozen oysters both natural & fresh topped, along with a glass of Tasmanian wine, craft beer or cider.
Take a photo in front of our one of a kind Tarkine inspired mural
